ScanBox Pro does not operate remote file-processing servers. When you use any tool on this site, your documents, images, videos, or audio files are read and processed entirely inside your local device's browser memory. Your files never leave your computer or smartphone.
1. No File Storage or Collection
Since all operations occur inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly, we have no physical ability to copy, store, inspect, or collect your files. The moment you close the page or reload, any cached data is completely erased from your browser's temporary memory.
2. Local Device PWA Storage
For specific tools that support document compiling (like the Document Scanner), files may be saved in your browser's secure local index database (IndexedDB) to allow you to continue working on them later. This database is sandboxed inside your local device and is completely inaccessible by us or any external network.
3. Analytics & Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies or record your personal information. We may use privacy-first, aggregate analytics tool (such as anonymous page visits counter) to monitor layout performance and general load parameters. No IP addresses or device profiles are tracked or linked to your file usage.
